#KLFTalks Series for Mental Health Awareness Month

A mental health awareness campaign driving the conversation around the different ways people experience mental health

It has always been our mission to continue the too silent, and often difficult, conversations surrounding mental health. Ever since our founder, Kevin Love, began talking openly about his own struggles with anxiety and depression, we have heard from many other incredible and brave people about their own journeys. Discussing these topics and having a conversation is the best way to eradicate the stigma around mental health especially in communities that need it the most.

As such, throughout Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we will be spotlighting these conversations. We will be launching a series called #KLFTalks, featuring stories and lessons from advocates in the mental health space. Through these short-form videos, our participants hope to inspire, engage, and educate young people on a variety of different mental health subjects.

Our #KLFTalks series are just the start of these conversations. Though they will offer the tools and language needed to more deeply understand the importance of mental health, each advocate hopes only to get the ball rolling. The real #KLFTalks come from the dialogue these topics start! The ultimate goal of this campaign is to inspire people like you to engage in these important conversations and to drive more awareness to the importance of mental health.

If you want to be a part of the change but don’t know where to start, simply make a donation of any amount here or by clicking the link below. All money raised, no matter how big or small, contributes to our mental health services in marginalized communities and amplification efforts for our partners.

Throughout the month of May, we will be sharing the #KLFTalks series on social media as well as this blog. If you haven’t already, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for weekly updates and be sure to share our posts with friends and loved ones!
